Agua-Thump is a water pipe location system for plastic pipes, it works by connecting a solenoid transducer to an outside tap, and running water through it. The unit produces water hammer in the pipe system, and this can be detected using the supplied ground mike, and thus the pipe can be traced back along it’s route.
